The kid from Dallas who never stopped.

Michael Valenzuela was 13 when his step-father first put him on the decks. His step-father learned from the DJs at KNON, the Dallas community radio station, and passed that lineage straight down. Before the turntables there was a piano, and the piano is where the ear came from.

He went on to four years of music and audio education at The Conservatory of Recording Arts and Sciences, Icon Collective, and MediaTech Institute. That training shows up in the details: clean mic handling during toasts, transitions that land on beat, a mix that reads the room instead of fighting it.

As a lead DJ with CoHost Entertainment and working alongside Walter's Wedding Estates, Michael has partnered with over 200 couples in three years, across Dallas Fort Worth and destination venues. He also takes personal clients directly.

His philosophy is simple: a wedding happens once. Playing the right song at the right time is the whole job, and he treats it that way from the ceremony processional to the last call on the dance floor.
